My daughter goes to bed every night wondering what her elf is going to have gotten into while we are sleeping. One morning, we woke up to find that "Jasmine" had made a pyramid on our family room table out of canned foods from our pantry. Another morning, Brianna (my daughter) went downstairs to find that "Jasmine" had pulled all of Brianna's play-doh out. And then another morning, "Jasmine" had pulled dishes out of our cabinets and made place-settings with name cards for Brianna, Ella (Brianna's best-friend), and for Jasmine herself! Brianna actually wants to go to bed every night so that Jasmine can get into mischief!!!

Last year was the first year the elf visited our daughter and it was the most exciting holiday experience ever. Just watching her wake up every morning, looking for her elf was worth every penny! I remember her waking one morning to find her elf hanging from the ceiling fan twirling around and aroud with her stocking hanging off it's foot. She was so puzzled at how the elf climbed 10 feet, attached itself with her stocking, and "magically" turned on the fan. My daughter is now 5 and I can't wait to see what the elf has in store this year..hopefully Santa will send an "elf in training" for my 2 year old son so that he can join in this wonderful Christmas experience!

Every year my boys anxiously await to see how their elves will make their grand entrance for the holiday visit. One year the elves wrote "We're back....come downstairs and find us!" on the bathroom mirror with my lipstick! The boys were so excited to follow the elves messy clues to find where they were hiding. I think the elves are their favorite part of the holiday season. Can't imagine not having the tradition of them coming to visit and making mischief every year! We love our elves!!! (The dog...not so much, he's been locked in his cage a time or two by our mischievous elves.)

Last year when my daughters elf arrived, she was so excited to see that her elf left her a happy holidays greeting spelled out with her favorite morning cereal cheerios. The message was left on the kitchen table and her elf was found upside down in the box.

We have 2 elves that visit for Christmas and one night they created a yarn fest. They strung yarn all over the living room (from lamp to mantle, from banister to table) and they were hanging with one hand from the yarn as if they were zip lining. Our 2 year old son and 8 year old daughter woke up very surprised and wanted to leave the elf there to look at for the morning.

We have the best time every Christmas with the elf. As soon as the Christmas tree goes up my daughter starts looking every morning for her elf. It has really brought fun and tradition to our family at Christmas.
